ESW Stanford: Get Involved

If you are a student at Stanford, there are several ways to get involved with ESW:
  • Join the group. The first step is to subscribe to the email list, and from there you can learn about upcoming events, field trips, and meetings. Then you can participate when you have time. To subscribe to the list, just send an email to:
esw-stanford-join@lists.stanford.edu (no subject or body necessary).

  • Take the class. ESW sponsors a class every quarter called "Design for Sustainability" (it's listed as CEE177s or CEE277s). By enrolling in the class, you get to work on the design for one of ESW's current projects.

  • Apply for an internship. ESW also sponsors several interns every year to go and work with our project partners on site during the actual construction or implementation of the project. Applications will become available in the spring.

  • Run for an officer position. Want to help keep ESW Stanford up and running for years to come? Run for an officer position to get more involved in the group and to help plan future events and projects!
